Memorial Day


Fun in the sun with my daughter this Memorial Day weekend- but don’t think I am not instilling in her why we have this holiday. My heart is swollen with pride and I thank God that I am an American. Hanging out on the beach with my family is one of the many freedoms I often forget to be thankful for. I thank God for every service family and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for defending our freedom so picnics, and hang outs like this are allowed to happen.


I think ourĀ 40th President of the United States said it best…”Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” -Ronald Reagan


This is where you can find us girls this summer- either poolside in our back yard or laying out on a beautiful sandy beach here in Florida. It runs in our veins and the sunshine does a heart good.
